Tony gives his thoughts on the finals after missing Week 9
Sorry for taking last week off, guys! I was super busy with work and when I gave all but one dance a 10, I figured it wasn’t really worth to say the same thing over and over. But I can’t ignore this post! In this post I’ll tell you all how I think our 3 finalists will end up finishing!
In Third Place: JAMIE & CHERYL
Okay, now this is Cheryl’s first DWTSGame finals! So it’s exciting to see her here! Despite the fact I want Jamie to place a bit higher, I think he’ll end up in 3rd place because he’s been slowing down with votes, from what I’ve heard. I think his Rumba was very nice too! I originally wanted to give it a 9, but after thinking over it, I think Jamie definitely could have pulled off a very tender and technical Rumba! And his freestyle was a fun Disco/Latin routine too! Lots of fun, and really I think Jamie could definitely be a joy to watch on the real show. But he made it to the finals; so 3rd place really isn’t a bad finish for him!
As the Runners-Up: KATE & TONY
Okay everyone, pick up your jaws. Haha! I know I’ve been calling Kate the winner all season long, but I’m beginning to doubt that after her appearance in the Bottom Two last week. Kate’s been an obvious lock for the Finals all season long. She’s the biggest ringer of Season 12, and with a perfect 60 going into the finale, you’d think I’d place her as the winner, right? Well, as I mentioned, the fact that she landed in the Bottom Two, I think, is pretty telling going into the Finals. I mean, Season 9 winner Alexandra Burke was in the bottom two for two or three weeks leading up to the
finals, but I feel like it’s going to be different this season. Now on to Kate’s dances. I loved both of them. A really traditional sounding Samba and a very creative choice for her Freestyle really made Kate perfect for me. I want
her to win, but I think there’s a bit too much working against her at the moment.
And the SEASON 12 CHAMPIONS: DEMI & MARK
I said back in Michael Jackson week I didn’t see Demi winning. And at the moment, I still don’t think she could, given the fact that she’s at the bottom of the leader board. But here’s why I say she will win: We’ve had stars at the bottom of the leader board win before. And she seems to be extremely popular with everyone. I’ll actually be very surprised if Demi DOESN’T win. I wasn’t too impressed with her samba. Maybe it was the song, maybe it’s because I don’t see her being too great at the samba. I really can’t tell what it is for this, but I didn’t buy it. As for her Freestyle, I think it could have been spectacular! But I’m going to say I gave it a 9 because of a missed lift or something went wrong, because I can’t really picture a bad routine. It just maybe wasn’t executed perfectly. But still an awesome number!
Well, that’s how I think the Final Results will turn out! I’ve got one more post for Season 12 that will be posted after the Winner is announced! And what do you guys think of the Olympian season? It seems like we’ve got a great cast! Also, I won’t be returning for Tony’s Thoughts for Season 13. I don’t know if that will upset anyone, but I have to take some time off.
